Cleanliness of rooms. Dining was just great. Service was terrific Dislikes. Fondue restaurant was just ok. Wouldn't do it again. Pool could use some paint. Pool entrance could be spruced up. I would rate my stay a 4.2 out of 5.

Very outdated. Photos from booking site are misleading. The rooms and facility were outdated. Staff did not speak English. The hotel was full of local people, not tourist. Beach chairs were broken.. overall I would consider this a two star property, which Expedia should be promoting it as such

I sent 3 letters with you to Expedia, Grand princesses and Punta cana princesses - I did not receive a response to any letter!! Here is my letter - Good afternoon. My husband and I arrived at the Punta cana Princess hotel on June 1. We immediately asked for a quiet room, but they gave us a view of the pool with loud music. The next day we asked to change the room. We spent 2 hours walking around in the heat and looking at 3 rooms.  I haven’t seen such horror for a long time! I have a video of everything. A hairdryer that just dangles from the ceiling and can fall on your head. In another it’s hot and the air conditioner shows a temperature of 27 degrees. In another room the air conditioner was just growing loudly. We found room 3003. I think everything would be fine with air conditioning and a hair dryer. We don’t count the broken door in the shower with the bolts torn out. But there were no towels and the phone was broken and we had to go to the reception again to ask for towels. But I don’t know how long this room stood empty, but we found a nest of mosquitoes in the bed. We killed them all evening. And today we asked for a blanket or a clean sheet because the blanket is so old and the sheet under it is just gray from dirt or old age and towels, because they brought 2 large ones, but not 2 small ones, well  and they said again - the phone doesn't work!!! we had to take an umbrella and go to the reception again to ask for all this! To which they told us that

When I read some bad reviews at the time I booked my vacations, I thought "people like to complain". But now I think I should have paid more attention to what they said, because I had the same problems. First, (after waiting for long time) our bedroom was not clean as it should be. I found hair on the jacuzzi and shower, the handles and counter on the sink were sticky and the service lady had to come to re-clean the whole place again. The food situation was very very bad. First the food is terrible everywhere. Didnt even have a chance to buy on a vending machine something else because you only depend on what they have at the moment. They only have 4 restaurants which only 2 of them are opened during the day and with specific times of eating (so you can not eat whatever you want at anytime, you should wait for their schedules and usually is a very poor buffet with flies over the food. The other 2 restaurants that open at night, are with reservation and expect to eat after around an hour of being sited on your table. The whole guest service is terrible, they seem like they don't care if you are confortable or not. Some of them are very disrespectful, most of the time are trying to flirt with the guests, they eat and drink alcohol all time in front of everybody and didn't even care. I have been in Cancun last year, and this trip made me realized how good is the service and food in Mexico. I am sorry but this destination lacks a lot to be able to compare with other places.
