"The team were friendly and helped carry our baggage up to our room; the room was average size for the Philippines and was tidy, and the bathroom was good, considering this is a budget hotel. the hotel is about a 5-minute walk up to the Oslob Whale Shark Street, where you gain entry to the water. Overall a place for a night just to see the whale sharks. "It’s called “Bills Tourist Inn” so we thought they would have some info about anything. They couldn’t help with tours, any information about what and where to go and couldn’t even recommend a good restaurant, so we were on our own. Hot water would come and go and there wasn’t any WiFi to help us figure things out. We basically had to walk into the Main Street for everything anyway so we should have just stayed closer. "

"Me and my girlfriend stayed for 5 nights. We liked the place,, the sunsets are amazing in the back of the hotel. The room is very small. The bed is not the most comfortable. But for the price. I can’t really complain "

"It's a small hotel on a back street, only a short walk from the Moalboal bus stop (5 minutes). rooms are spartan and the usual Philippine combo shower toilet. The window-mounted A/C sounded like a 737 at take-off, but you could hear the conversations from the house next door if you didn't run it. The local roosters (next door) will give you great entertainment (not) all night as they squawk at each other. It is a 10 min tr-cycle ride to the tourist part of Moalboal and the sardine swimming."

"This place was pretty good, a bit more expensive than it should have been. We had dinner in the restaurant and I didn't even eat mine, because it didn't look or taste very good. My wife said her dinner wasn't too bad but not really good either."

"It was indeed a great stay! All the staff are very friendly and so accommodating. Special mention to Ate Joy and the other front desk Ate (I can't remember her name) Kuya (the night shift duty all around the staff. They were all helpful in assisting me to use the facility for working at night in the lobby area. Looking forward to staying at Novies but this time with my family. Novies is a safe, clean place, with easy access to almost everything. Thank you for a great stay!"
