"Please stay at this wonderful chambre d’hote. Roxi is the perfect host and you can really tell that she has put her heart and soul into this lovely house. The bedroom we had was amazing and had everything you need including a huge jacuzzi!!! Perfect place to enjoy the town of Verteuil sur Charente. Fresh eggs included in great breakfast. We will be back!!!"

"Description of property very misleading. We understood that we were sharing the accommodation with possibly another person in the single section. It was in fact the owners home and we shared the facilities with her and her family. Not for us , we ate in the very small bedroom where the drawers and the wardrobe were full of the owner’s possessions, socks jumpers suitcases etc. not much space for our stuff. "Very welcoming and friendly staff who spoke excellent English. Pretty remote and the nearest village was quiet and lacking amenities. Mondays are quiet days! We didn’t use the pool but it looked good. The crazy golf was ok but a bit tired and some holes were broken. The static caravan / pod was ok. Small and compact compared to uk static caravans. It was clean, but without air con, the bedroom windows had to be opened fully to let air in. Not great when you’ve got children to worry about. No storage. Very good shower. The decking area was rickety and weathered, and close to replacing. All in all, good value and a handy stop over before the coast."
