"We had an overall good stay. We upgraded one level and it was TOTALLY worth it compared to our friends' standard rooms. Much bigger, especially if it's a two queen room. It's an older hotel for sure but the decor was slightly more updated than the standard which made a difference for us. Check-in was easy but parking was confusing and pricey ($30 overnight but $50 if you want to come in and out during your stay-we should have used valet for $60) but pretty standard for anything by LAX.
