"Good base for the week. Did have a couple of times people trying to get in as they thought it was part of the raptor foundation so had to have the door locked all the time. Walls are very thin so could hear the people next door snoring all night. However the lodge is damp and the heating is wholly inadequate, the macerator in the shower room had leaked under the laminate floor and was still leaking on my arrival.The property was a health hazard. "This hotel is without doubt “budget”. It’s dated and tatty and in the middle of nowhere, but the bed was comfy and was fine for a base for a couple of nights as I was working in Cambridge. The added bonus of having a basic continental breakfast was appreciated. Parking on site too. If it’s prices rise much more, it wouldn’t be worth it but for a cheap hotel it’s a decent enough base."
