"The first to say is that Midgard Base Camp does not feel like the stereotypical hostel that one imagines. This starts with the lobby area that has a fun and cozy setup and the restaurant and bar area. Also, the room options are more than just a shared room with bunk beds and community bathrooms. "This was a fun night out in the middle of nowhere. A great location to stargaze or catch the northern lights if it's clear! The camper was in perfect shape, a big deck out front with lots of room for sitting outside. They are building things in the campground, it would be cool to see hot tubs go in!"

"Old place that feels like you are dropped into a different era. Room was really hot. Kept the window open all night and it slightly cooled down. No fridge to use which I think they should have. But staff provided me ice which was nice of them. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful."
