I stayed here on a work trip to Seoul Nov 2014, it is a great location for evening shopping. Staff are very helpful, the restaurant is quiet but the food is good.
The rooms are lovely and warm and clean.
Don't get into a taxi unless you have your destination written in korean, they don't understand written or spoken english very well (which is fine when you are prepared!!).
My son and I stayed here for nearly two weeks as we had travelled to South Korea as he needed surgery. The first room we stayed in was overlooking the street and was extremely noisy and there was so internet access in that particular room. We asked to be moved and luckily there was a room available. The other room was very quiet and much better and did have internet access The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. They kitchen facitlites were good and there was a washing maching which was really helpful. The only drawback was that there were three flights of stairs to climb and no lift. This is fine your younger or fitter people but for people with mobility issues this could be a problem. If we visit again I we would deninately stay there again, it was great and very reasonably priced.
For me, this was just a room to sleep in, but it's situated in a nice part of town that's away from the more touristy places on the other side of the river. Garosu-gil is a nice street with some great little stores and boutiques.
One thing to note is that although the hotel is advertised as English speaking, it doesn't go beyond the basics. A breakfast was included in my room charge, but when I went at breakfast time, no food was to be seen in the kitchen, and no-one was awake to respond to questions. You can rely on the convenience store just across the street.
Also, even though it's a "female only" hotel, male guests were allowed in the hotel and rooms, so just don't go out unprepared.
Finally, it can get pretty noisy late at night, if your room is near the front desk on 2F, so best to ask for a room upstairs on 3F, if there's one available.
Friendly staff who are knowledgeable about Seoul, and can speak English. A little far from the subway station, but the instructions on their website are clear and the place can be easily found with them.
