"A great one night stay booked as a stopover to break up a longer journey. So easy to get to from the main highway, parking right outside our room and a very comfortable night stay. We loved the window shutters that helped make the room dark for a great sleep. Staff were incredibly welcoming and so good with children. The restaurant was great for an evening meal. The location next to the airfield was fab to watch a few small planes land and it provided some great child entertainment! "

The owners were fantastic, superbly accommodating with food after the restaurant had closed and with a lovely breakfast. "We stopped at the Chateau for 2 nights. Itโ€™s a charming place, furnished in keeping with the house. Was very comfortable and homely. Tim (one of the owners) gave us lots of information about where to visit. Breakfast was great, fresh bread, cheeses, meats, scrambled egg. We also enjoyed using the table tennis facility in the evening."

"On the website this 'hotel' looked lovely, but when we arrived we discovered that it was in fact a 'hostel' type hotel with the TV in a shared lounge/dining room with only two comfortable chairs. We got to our room through a shared not very clean 'kitchen' with all the other rooms coming off the shared 'kitchen'. It would have been a nightmare if anyone else was staying at the same time, but luckily we were the only ones staying the night (we wonder why?) so we didn't keep bumping into people...

"This hotel is brand new and so the satnav had great difficulty in finding it, but perseverance paid off. The room was smallish but fine and the bed was really good - a rarity in French hotels! The reception was excellent and the restaurant was way beyond our expectations - lovely staff and super food. This is a really convenient stopover spot for heading to and from France via Calais."
