When we checked in we found that we were booked for a “Garden Unit,” meaning a boat parked on the grass several meters away from any water. Your view from such a unit will likely be weeds, not water. "After difficulty finding and getting to the barge. (I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. Loved the decor in the Art Deco room of the Barge. The hosts provide everything needed, even putting milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. "Very nice all in all, easy to park, right outside, quiet and secluded area yet 5 mins walk into Sheffield. Enjoyed our stay. Just need to modernize the TVs, new mattresses and have onboard internet and it would be perfect."
