Hotels with Views in Minnesota

"This place was great actually. I wasn’t impressed with the lobby front desk area, but this place was actually great. I had brought an air mattress on our road trip because my son and I are to big for a queen, they actually had extra sheets and available air mattresses at the front desk which we didn’t need, but they had some extra stuff I’m forgetting about. Duluth was a nice city, and I would definitely go back. Their downtown reminded me of Omaha’s downtown market area. "

"Such a wonderful view of Lake Superior. Very convenient location to restaurants and nature. Walked the beach and drove the Gunflint Trail. All employees we talked to were wonderful!"

"The hotel was very loud. It sounded like they were banging things against the walls in the rooms on either side of us. "

"The property is located right along Lake Superior and each room has a balcony that overlooks the lake. The property is somewhat older, but the owners are doing a lot of repairs. Our check-in was smooth and quick, the staff was very friendly, and coffee/hot chocolate/hot cider were available all day in a very nice sitting area. Although you have to drive to anyplace to eat, the location was close enough to towns that it wasn't a big issue. We also love Tofte and Grand Marais, so both were easy...
