"overall the building was lovely reception stunning staff efficient room was lovely absolutely sufficient quiet setting in a village room iron and board trouser press fan safe and small fridge which was a god send we didn’t use the pool or sauna lots of building work going on all around. 3 complaints my daughter paid extra for a bigger bed the bases were separate as were the mattresses nothing to hold them together so kept coming apart thru the night sheets didn’t fit the bed properly soon as you...

"From start to finish we were made welcome at The Essex. The staff were lovely and they genuinely engaged with my little granddaughter. They went the extra mile. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. I liked the restaurant, you could have a full meal or lighter option and once again the staff were helpful and charming.
