Abbotsford hotel rooms a the Independent

"We stayed in a suite with a king bed in the west side. It was fabulous! Had a great view of the ocean. Unfortunately my sense is that the ones on the east side could be darker with not much of a view. I’m not sure. The cafe is amazing. Really good food. Muffins fresh from the oven first thing in the morning. Yum!"

"We drive up to Canada a few times a year & every year we try to go to the Richmond Night Market. Our usual stays have always been in Richmond & Burnaby. This time we wanted to try Langley/Surrey because of how affordable it is compared to the other 2 places. It’s about a 40 minute drive to the Night Market around 6pm-ish but overall not bad! The hotel was nice and clean. The casino is also not overwhelmingly loud and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We loved how slow the pace is in Langley & how convenient it is to local parks & restaurants. Surrey is also close and there’s so many amazing Filipino restaurants there! We would recommend OEB Breakfast Co. for brunch & Mr. Siopao for dinner! 2 of the best restaurants we are looking forward to going back and it’s close to the hotel!"

"I was very happy with my stay. I was very impressed with the room! I wanted to stay longer due to the amenities this room provided. I thought the washer & dryer was enough & then realized there was a dishwasher! It was very updated and made me want to stay longer. It felt cozy yet modern. I would definitely stay here again!"
