"The concierge in the late afternoons and early evenings was so kind and helpful, and his phenomenal service is why I’m giving this hotel a 5 star rating. He had a great recommendation for dinner, Bouillon Republique, and helped recommend the doctor next to the pharmacy a block away and call SOS medicine when we were sick. The concierge in the morning was not as friendly, and the baggage storage is not very secure (in one room every guest can get into). Beds and pillows were the most comfortable we slept on during our travels around Europe but shorter than those in the US so our feet dangled off. There were people peeing in the hotel courtyard and three carts full of dirty housekeeping linens in the hallways we had to squeeze by to get to our room at all times of day. It is located in a convenient location near many restaurants such as Bo&Mie bakery right across the street that has delicious raspberry croissants. Hotel is walkable to some attractions such as the Louvre and Centre Pompidou. However, public transit is not always reliable. We ended up Ubering back from the Eiffel Tower and to the airport after watching the sunset there because there was no space to get on the trains at midnight and they were fixing the rails on the RER to the airport."
