"Great for a short stay. I only spent one night between travel days so didn't really use the amenities outside of the room. Make sure you bring a travel adaptor as the room I stayed in did not have any usb/usb-c ports. Reception staff were polite, friendly and very helpful."

"This hotel is currently being renovated. Onside of the hotel on one side has tarps and scaffolding, preventing a clear outlook to the outside. Windows cannot be opened. The hotel has provided a good and fairly quiet air conditioner in each room, so rooms are comfortable. After a few nights we moved to another side of the hotel without scaffolding and staff was very helpful in arranging this. There is some street noise from restaurants on one side of the hotel but this disappears by 11;00 pm. The hotel provides an included and excellent breakfast each day. Staff is very helpful throughout the hotel. The location is excellent with good restaurants, beautiful buildings along the river walk and beautiful upscale shopping close by. Zurich is a pretty city and this hotel is very well situated. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Wellenberg and it will be even better once the renovation is complete. I would stay there again."
