"Breakfast is excellent! The room was clean and overall the venue was clean. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Especially the friendly young lady at the reception with the beautiful smile (Wednesday early evening who advised us to go downtown Deventer and enjoy the scenery with a drink at St.Tropez. "This place is the best! We got there early and dropped off our luggage so we could walk around the town, and when we got back to the hotel our luggage was already in the room and there was a record playing on the record player! The friendliest and most helpful staff, no matter what time of day we were there, and the service made us try to think of a reason to come back to the area just so we could stay at the Finch again! Couldn't recommend it more!"

"We tried to book in early but they were unable to accommodate, which we understand. But our friend checked in 20 minutes later and he was accommodated. We went back at 3, as they asked, and the rooms still weren't ready. They gave us a voucher for a free drink for the 4 of us but when we got the bill, we were told it was only for non alcoholic drinks. The rooms were just average and the echoing down the hallway kept most of us awake. Just an OK hotel. Breakfast was good"

"Nice hotel with interesting concept. Very good location short walk the train station and city center. There is a Jumbo supermarket and restaurants next door. As clearly marketed it is a room and digital key with no human contact. Room is clean and for longer stay cleaned every 4 days. I recommend the hotel but you need to have a mobile with internet access otherwise you will not be able to access the hotel and room."

"I stayed in a "business plus" room. It was a nice size, but the TV is small, only 1 pillow is provided (and it's tiny), the duvet is 2/3 the size of the bed and there is no iron in the room. The breakfast is OK at best. It is very clean, the rooms are quiet, the staff are wonderful and the location is great. But I do not think that I will stay here again."
