This property is a perfect location for a short stay in Zihuatanejo around the action. The area is loud at night, bright in the room and is an old building but worth it for the price and location.

Mold in the fridge area, so loud couldn't sleep at night, pillows very hard hurt my head.. wifi connection very poor .. location to shops and beach was good. Furniture very old and rundown. The reception lady was nice. No lock on door so the cleaners just walk in, can find U in the nude.

A decent affordable hotel
It is a family business. The hotel is in a great location. It is sometimes a bit noisy at night but having the fan on, helps to bury the noise. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The hotel needs a bit of work but the most is that the room and especially the bathroom was not too clean. A thorough cleaning would add greatly to the value. Except for that, it is a good affordable hotel, I recommended it to our friends and we will come back.
horrible, sucio, pésimas condiciones, mala atención, no respetaron mi reservación, alberca sucia y vieja, colchones en mal estado, no volvería a este lugar, las fotos editadas y antiguas no corresponden a la realidad 😠

Accessible to everything as it’s down town, although hard to find. Was really disappointed with the condition of this hotel, old, smelly, dirty, run down. The pool was dirty. The staff was the saving grace, so friendly and helpful. Pictures on site are not accurate.
Will never stay there again.
Overall experience was great, 5 min walking distance from the main beach and the marina that takes you to Playa Las Gatas via taxi boat. Lots of small restaurants to eat from, around the corner from the main street where you can buy souvenirs and very close to the banks too, however, one bad spot (not the hotel) makes the stay a bit less fortunate. We got the 2nd-floor corner room that leads to a small alley in which at the end of it there is a small bar like I said NOT the hotel BUT THE BAR made the night long as they play music EACH and EVERY DAY from 6 pm till 7 am...

Manager Vicki was pleasant and helpful. We first checked in to a room on the second floor that was dinghy and the AC quit sometime during the night. Vicki moved us to a better room on the ground floor and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. The Hotel is only a block or two from everything in town. For one of the cheapest hotels in town (don't expect the Ritz!) It was good and I'd recommend it.
Everything grubby looking - beds lumpy - very noisy with loud music nearby all night long.

Cheap, clean, friendly.
Great service from staff. Clean but rough around the edges. Beds are hard but a/c, tv and wifi were good. No restaurant in hotel but many close by. Short walk to beach and market. Collectivo stand also very close. Reasonably priced.
Very helpful staff (Vicky, et al), very clean and friendly and at the right price! Rooftop views and pool area make it a good place to be (can be a little noisy at night but it is that way downtown wherever you are). Taxis need to know to drop you off at the conflux of 3 banks (Scotia, etc.) as it is not on the main road but off a pedestrian sidestreet off Nicolas Brava (a one-way street). Nice big TV's on the wall & good reception to a Seattle, WA station and air conditioning. I would highly recommend staying at the Hotel Corona!
We spent 3 perfect nights, Tues, Wed, Thurs, at Corona. Even though our room was streetside, it was quiet. The bed was thankfully firm, AC chilled, bed and towels changed daily and the roof top patio and pool was a quiet escape in the heat of the day. An 8 minute walk to the water taxi and 5 minutes to the Market with 3 banks between it and Hotel Corona. We will definitely stay at Hotel Corona on our next trip to Zihua.
Excelente servicio del hotel. A muy bien precio. Localización perfecta para desplazarse a muchos lugares. Atención del personal en general muy bien, el recepcionista se portó de una manera muy agradable.

Looking for a great place close to the beach? This is it! In the heart of the city and a block away from the beach.
The staff is friendly and willing to help.
