"The main positive about this property are the staff and the location. The staff are very polite, professional and most of all personable and helpful. Major props to Crystal and Sunny. Nothing but good things to say about them. The hotel is also very close to Tianmen Mountain cablecar station as well as local restaurants and airport/train station as a result of being in the city center. The property itself is well maintained though quite old and main drawbacks is the fact that the property itself is old as well as the fact that people smoke within and outside the premises. This makes for a poorer experience otherwise I will give it 5 stars."
"Excellent service, very clean hotel, I love the free laundry machines, and super helpful staff! From the moment I booked the hotel, Joanna the concierge contacted me about if I needed assistance with anything. I inquired about attraction tickets. She secured the attraction tickets for me and my family and notified me of the best days and times to attend the parks and events. Her attention to detail, responsiveness, and care made our visit stress free. From the moment we arrived she greeted us and escorted us to our room. Her level of attention and hospitality was exceptional and went far beyond what we expected. The whole staff was in fact very helpful and truly accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel."
"It does smell like smoke. Lots of people smok in the cafe which is hard to sit in. Staff was good. Especially the ones to help book tours. Overall it's a good place but the smoke smell through the hotel is annoying for us."
"Our plan was to visit Tiannem mountain park. The hotel is so close to it. The staff was amazing since we have arrived at the hotel. They've such knowledge of the region, where, how and when to go to different places of Zhangjiajie. Since we had more time, the suggested us to go to the great canyon the next day. They provided a courtesy ride to Tianmen national park and they booked and arranged our trip to great canyon. They really went above and beyond. The room was very clean and well equipped with all the toiletries. Both US and Chinese power outlets were available. The breakfast was typically Chinese traditional. Really enjoyed it. We are really recommended this hotel."
"This was a magical place to spend a few days. The room was superb and perfect for our needs and the location was idyllic high in the mountains. What made this stand out though was the superb Concierge who organised and booked all of our visits to the many attractions of the area. Transport, timings and tickets were all taken care of. It was like having your own travel agency. She was brilliant. Breakfast was fine but the restaurant was excellent and really good value. For a first time visitor to China it was a wonderful location."
"My family of 7 stayed at Sanhe resort for four nights. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. We had multiple nights of good sleep. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide array of foods from Chinese to western tastes. The biggest compliment would have to go to the hotel staff. Everyone was very friendly and kind, two staff members kindly stayed with me for over an hour helping me plan our route around the mountain(s). Sara, the coordinator was so meticulous in contacting us before our stay to arrange transportation to and from the resort for us. She had a driver pick us up from the train station. Additionally, she arranged a driver to drive us from furong town and back. Everything was so well coordinated. We felt like we were in good hands. The only con was that that we felt a bit catfished from the hotel photos online. While Sanhe did have a gym, outdoor pool and laundry, these were mostly outside of the building and were shared properties with other buildings in the area. The laundry was on the roof. We were a bit surprised to learn about this. Additionally, while the laundry machines were free, the dryers were not good at all. Drying for multiple hours, our clothes were still wet and all needed to be hung dry. The western restaurant onsite was really good but short staffed. So at times, we had to wait a long time to get our food. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay at Sanhe."
"L’emplacement est parfait ! L’hôtel est juste en face du téléphérique de la Montagne Tianmen. On y va à pied en 5 minutes, c’est ultra pratique pour commencer la visite sans perdre de temps."
