"When we arrived, the only sign on the door was in Flemish. After using google translate, we tried all 3 bells as instructed but got no answer. We had to look up on Expedia to find the telephone number. The owner answered, and said a neighbour would be along shortly to let us in. He hung up on me whilst i was asking about the promised parking. The neighbour was pleasant but spoke only Flemish- i speak English, French, German, italian and Danish- so communication was hard. I had chosen this b&b...

Thomas greeted us, made a dinner reservation for us and provided a wonderful breakfast. He helped to get our European roadtrip off to a lovely start. We will return. "

Instructions to get a key proved a bit baffling for jet-lagged senior citizens arriving after dark unfamiliar with the system used. Took us while to figure out how to turn on lights in part of the room with switches on the wires on the floor. Even then the bedroom seemed a bit dark at night, which would be wonderful for a romantic encounter, but is a bit of a problem for other...

"Very nice people, friendly and accommodating, Relaxed atmosphere, good continental breakfast. Expedia property details incorrect, out of hours check-in with smart lock codes is NOT available. Staff stayed late to greet us but this is not their normal service."

"What a fantastic place. We were greeted with a smile and a hug and received the most personable service we have ever had. Not to mention the breakfast with all of the homemade delights. We stayed only one night, but could have stayed for weeks if we could. Staying here is a must. We will be back again"

"This is a very nice B&B, no far from restaurants and the coast. The hosts are very warm and welcoming. Rooms are charming, clean and tidy and well-maintained. Breakfast is good. Breskens is well-connected by train via Vlissingen to the rest of the Netherlands, and by bus to Bruges and west Belgium, and is a nice base to explore Zeeland from."
