Great Hotel

Excellent hotel, located right in Zell am See and a 5 minute walk up to the gondola at the ski field. The room was a good size, very clean and comfortable and had a decent balcony. Both dinner and breakfast were really decent, and I definitely would stay here on my next trip.

Great location and very clean. Most of hotel is new and breakfast was great. Sleeping was terrible, construction on building attached to hotel which started at 7:00am. We were told it wouldn’t start until 8:00 or 9:00. Pounding went on from 7:00am until 4:30ish. This construction should have been listed. We would have chosen another hotel.

الموقع في السنتر وقريب من البحيره لكن لا يوجد تنظيف للغرفه الا بمقابل 25 يورو لليوم وعند الخروج يجب دفع 50 يورو إجباري رسوم تنظيف نهائي، ولا يوجد تكييف ولا مصعد.

What! No bar fridge!

First hotel we’ve stayed in which hasn’t had a bar fridge. Some of the reception staff can be ambivalent. Waiting staff were excellent!

Well thought out and nicely arranged apartment for four. We were very comfortable. Views from the balcony (1st floor) were not great though and the town centre location can be noisy at night.

Das Hotel und Personal hat uns einen tollen Aufenthalt und angenehme Skiferien bereitet. Manche Gäste im selben und fremder Hotel trüben die Erholung deutlich durch Lärm bis spät, spät in die Nacht.

Lovely hotel in the alpine village of zell am see

Really enjoyed my stay here. The owners were very helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast. Hotel is very conveniently located and so handy for going back and forth. My only minor issue was that I could hear noise from the street and children on corridoors or messing with the lift. While in zell am See I visited the glacier near kaprun for the great views, walked the full perimeter of the lake, saw the night water show, hiked up to Schmittenhohebahn and saw the ice hockey. Really nice alpine base.

Great hotel!

The staff at Hotel Gruner Baum were very friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size, the breakfast was good with many options, and the neighborhood was very quiet and close to the lake and shopping. I would recommend this hotel.

Vacances en Autriche

Hotel très bien situé en plein de coeur du superbe Zell am Zee , réception très design , personnel charmant, à l'écoute, petite tablette de chocolat en partant. Chambre spacieuse avec terrasse aménagée, salle de bain immense , chambre avec mobilier assez simple mais literie très confortable. Le seul bémol , pas de rideau occultant et on entend les autres résidents de l'hôtel s'ils s'attardent à discuter le soir sur la terrasse. Petit déjeuner parfait, restaurant également très bon. A recommander vivement ainsi que Zell am Zee !

호수에서 가까운 호텔. 시설은 만족스러우나 가격은 좀 비싼편. 발코니방을 사용할경우 무조건 클리닝피 지불해야함. 호텔주변이 식당 밀집지역이라 밤에 좀 시끄러울 수 있음.

Wanderurlaub

Ein wunderschöner Sommerurlaub in einer sehr abwechslungsreichen Gegend, einerseits der See, andererseits die Berge. Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum und ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für alle Unternehmungen. Bus- und Bahnstation in nächster Nähe ermöglichen auch umweltfreundliches Reisen. Hotel sehr gastfreundlich, gutes Frühstück, frisch renovierter Frühstücksraum und Zimmer. Empfehlenswert, wenn man nicht lärmempfindlich ist ( durch Fußgängerzone Lärm die ganze Nacht).
