Honestly, I travel a lot and I'm not writing this to be mean, but this hotel should not even be on your radar - it shouldn't even be on Orbitz. It's not clean, both rooms they gave us options for had a sulphary smell, and I have picutres how how bad the toilets are (stains, smells, etc..). It looks nothing like the photos. We got in at 11pm so we couln't change the hotel, but we checked out first thing in the morning and booked another hotel.
Things to note if you are traveling with someone slightly older - therea re stairs everywhere.
The staff were also very weird. They simply didn't want to be there. This was very unlike the rest of my expeirence in Zanzibar - I found the locals to be extremely nice, but the people that work here just looked and acted miserable.
