Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas - Adults Only- All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"This property is the best adults only all-inclusive in Cancun. Rooms are spacious with ocean views a must. The entire property is air conditioned, including the spacious lobby, bar, snack bar and restaurants. Food is outstanding! Do not believe negative reviews about the food. The activity pool has 2 bars and can be noisy, however, much fun, especially if you have had a few drinks. the center pool is quieter and the small pool, the "dead pool" provides absolute quiet. All the pools are infinity looking out on the water. What we liked is the 24 hour snack bar off the lobby and the Cappuccino bar in the lobby. All wait staff and maids are friendly and speak English. The Steak Restaurant is outside as well as a portion of the buffet which can be hot in Summer. Free parking is ample. The minibar in the room is well stocked and even has hard liquor."

"The staff were amazing! Unlike some resorts we have stayed at in the past, they were friendly, helpful, and seemed genuinely glad to be there. We loved the resort property, and amenities, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I have mobility challenges, but the resort was wheelchair friendly, and we were able to participate in every thing we wanted to do. Our only "obstacle" was we did not get to eat at Basmati due to there being stairs to get in, but we didn't worry about it. I have no doubt that the staff would have made a way to accommodate us if we had asked. We had a great week!"

"I liked that it was a lot of fun. The shows by the pool are 10/10. We didn't catch all the evening shows, but the ones I did were enjoyable and had dynamic performances. Great variety of dining options and poolside beverages. The pools are very nice. Beach volleyball was also really fun. Everyone in the staff was really nice. I really enjoyed hanging out with the playmates too! They're awesome! Not the place for you if you don't like big parties, but definitely a fun place to go if you do! They do have a spa and free quiet pool which I recommend for when you want to recharge."
