"Hotel built in 1961 with mid century design i like moderniziation hit and miss. Large windows appealing. Room was fine. King bed comfortable. Nice they have a desk and dining table. Fridge temperature is not accurate froze my complimentary bottle of water. Lamps on nightstand large with only one outlet. I like more bedside outlets thatvi dont have to crawl on floor to find extension cord. I will bring my own in future. Overall nice stay for good price close to university. I paid $10 for 1:00 checkout very appreciated "

"We loved the stay. It was a lovely place; the only complaint we had (not necessarily the hotel's fault) was the pool. We were in town for a marathon, and we wanted to sit in the hot tub the night before. However, the pool area was packed with hockey families who were there for a tournament. Parents ignored their kids running around, jumping into the hot tub, and running into the sauna, even though there was clear signage saying kids under 18 weren't allowed in either area. I did have to complain and was told that there should be a staff member checking in on it, and there wasn't. We left after 10 minutes and were a tad disappointed. but other than that we highly recommend and plan to visit again."

"What a great little place in Brimley. I stayed for three nights in late October. The motel only has about nine units, kind of a 1960s throwback place but it's bigger than it looks and completely remodeled. The rooms are spotless and have small kitchens with a fridge, induction burners, microwave, and flat-screen TV. Bathrooms all have showers. Some rooms are a little bigger than others, but all are a good size and super comfortable. It’s tucked away in a quiet spot just off the bridge in Brimley. Everything feels new, and the rates are very reasonable. Ken and Shannon the owners, live off site but are there at a moments notice if you need them - they couldn’t have been nicer—they really went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Definitely a hidden gem and a place I’d stay at again."
