"Very pleasant stay. My child enjoy the pool, has a lifeguard. Friendly staff. Watch for uneven flooring in some part of hallway and narrow doorway for potential tripping hazard."
Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Yorkton
8/10 Good
"Likes: - Complimentary breakfast - Hotel was newly renovated and clean Dislikes: - The bathrooms on the main lobby floor were locked 24/7 and you had to ask for a key like you were at a gas station not a $300.00/night hotel. - They keep the water slide turned off until you ask them to turn it on. - The front desk girl is constantly on her phone and it makes you feel like you're interrupting her every time you walk up to the counter. - My wife got stuck in the elevator as it wouldn't open on the main floor. She told the front desk girl after having to go back up to the 3rd floor and walk down the stairs. 2hrs later she asked the manager if it had been fixed and the manager said they were checking to make sure my wife wasn't just hallucinating and just then the maintenance guy shows up at the front counter and says "Oh yeah, I got stuck in there this morning too!" then the manager says they'll call a guy from Regina as there are no elevator techs in Yorkton. - At EXACTLY 11:02am we get a phone call from the front desk reminding us it's check-out time. In my entire life i've never had any hotel phone me AT check-out time on the DOT to basically tell me to "get-out". Very classy. So in short, nice looking place, clean with a decent complimentary breakfast but the front desk staff/manager and their policies/demeanor don't make you feel all that warm and cozy and welcome."
