Romantic Hotels in Yorkshire, England

"The hotel reception looks great but the rest of the hotel is a bit dated. Check in took around 15/20 minutes, longest check in I've experienced. Car parking was ridiculous, £18 a night. Didn't sleep great, the bed was not comfortable. Didn't bother with breakfast as it was much cheaper to go elsewhere. Overall for the money there is much better hotels close by for the same price. "

"The hotel overall was nice. The lady who checked me in was really friendly. Overall everything seemed clean except for the stains on the carpet in my room. I did notice the traffic outside but it didn’t keep me awake. The bed was comfy. There was a fridge available in the room and, if you needed it, an ironing board and a hairdryer."

"It is a beautiful old hotel that really needs some work done to it. If that happens it could be brought back to its glory. The cafe restaurant has very good food and the staff were great. Some of the carpets and bath surrounds left a Lot to be desired in regards to cleanliness "
