"The Villa itself was spacious and decent. All the basic amenities and the green space out front was nice. However, there was a lack of hooks for towels in the bathroom, which is odd given the fact many people come to Okinawa for the beach. The location was in a nice residential neighbourhood, but felt like no man’s land in terms of eateries etc. If you’re vegetarian, like me, good luck. The area is dominated by resorts and caters to meat eaters. The pool area is a bit tired and it’s about a 3...

"The location was ok and close to Junglia amusement park, although there are two western old men walking and blocking a roadway, behaving like unwelcoming tourists.
There are many local restaurants, beaches, convenience stores. "

"Very nice place but it’s abit too quiet and have to travel all the way in via a small road. Not doable without a car. The pool is ok during the day time but the lights attract bugs at night"

"Great hotel and super staff with a beautiful beach. The food at the restaurants was plentiful and delicious so worth the cost! Only thing I didn’t like was paying 1000Y to use the indoor pool; that seemed expensive! But anyway, why use the indoor pool when the outdoor pool and ocean are so beautiful? I loved our stay here! Highly recommend visiting."
"Amazing hotel with amazing food. Would recommend for anyone looking to relax at the hotel. The beach is close as well about a 10 minute walk to the swimming area."
"Right from check-in, the service was impeccable. We were welcomed with fresh juices for the whole family and driven to the villa in a buggy. With breakfast provided, and a meal allowance, we were well fed throughout. Breakfast alone included bread basket, smoothies, appetiser plate, main, soup and a fruit combo. They even offered champagne as part of breakfast. From 2pm every day, they also served free cakes and snacks in the lounge. The staff were super attentive, and checked with us daily on our meal plans. The rooms were very clean, spacious for our family of five. The bath tubs were ginormous. Toiletries were generously well stocked. The outdoor jacuzzi in our villa was awesome. The hotel had a super relaxed and chill vibe. Simply the best of Japanese hospitality. Do take note that there is a daily charge for parking."
"We booked in to the Grande Mercure for 3 nights during our 14 day trip for a bit of a relax with the kids (ages- 9, 10, 11 & 12). This totally hit the spot! We chose the executive level so we'd have access to the breakfast, snacks and drinks throughout the day and it was the best decision we made. It is a huge lounge with tons of space for families. We had great breakfast options and the coffee and drinks throughout the day were exceptional. We did not eat at the main restaurant but enjoyed lunches and one dinner at the Pizza/Waterside restaurant.
It was nice to have the executive lounge space to get together with our friends, the kids could play games/cards and the adults were able to snack, read and drink when we weren't at the pool.
The rooms were very well appointed and the waterslides, pools, lazy river and beach are all well maintained and easy to access. Of note, kids under 13, must be accompanied by an adult on the big tube waterslide AND in the water. That was a disappointment for us as our kids are all athletic swimmers but needed supervision IN the water at all times. We wished there was a swim test so the lifeguards could identify kids who are capable in the water. This was a very minor thing but did affect how we spent our time. Also of note, if its too windy (which we encountered during our time), there is no ability to open the umbrellas meaning there is next to no shade available at the pool. We had an exceptional meal @ Maruki Pizza a short Uber ride away."
"Big rooms that were clean with a great view of the East China Sea! A 3 bedroom, with not enough seating in the family room or the breakfast table with four chairs. A kitchen that has no plates, utensils, or cooking necessities. No Keurig, but interesting pour over coffee bags. There were three of us, so no big deal, but just be aware of what is provided."
