Never Again

Hotel was very poor. The reception staff could speak very little English. The room was smelling of smoke, the shower was discusting, the bed was basically a base with a matress topper with poor bed sheets. The breakfast was very basic and un appealing. Overall very disappointed with the stay at this hotel.

If you can get it for less than $30 its fine

I stayed in two rooms. The rooms on the top floor are clearly the "poor person" rooms ad the showers and walls look like they came from the clearance isle in a Walmart parking lot.

Shirak Hotel Is an excellent hotel that is located within walking distance to everything. The view from my balcony was amazing. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was super delicious.

Overall stay is ok. Clean and changing towels everyday. Breakfast not much options. No smoking premise. Hotels.com should take out from the booking options. There is no Flat-screen TV, Classic TV from 1980's 14". Only shower- Not Bathtubs. Overall nothing is there which is showed in room photos. Room Heater are working perfect.

Location and price are gret. Easily withing short walk of all city center attractions. After chevking in and going to my room, i found that i was given a different type of room than what i had requested. I check out tomorrow and hope that there isn't some type of additional fee charged.

Terrible Hotel

1-it was very expensive 2-Rooms were very dirty, looked like an old cheap guest house (found an empty bag of cigarettes under my bed and there was a gum stuck to the lamp stand) 3-No room service 4-Tv didn't have any channels except one Russian channel with bad quality 5-Doors had no keycards and instead they open by keys like old hostels 6-Stale bread was served for breakfast 7-The fridge door in the room didn't close properly 8-No safe in the room 9-Staff didn't speak English 10-Restaurant is a huge rip off 11-Room was cold and the heaters were turned off despite the cold weather 12-Bed sheets were extremely old and changed colour for being over washed (found a bed bug on my sheet and complained to the staff and they changed the sheet with an even older one) 13-Table covers at the restaurant were full of yellow stains and unwashed during our whole stay. 14-No toiletries(tooth brush, comb, shaving kit, etc) and slippers in the room.

Hotel requiring complete refurbishment

Did not receive the room category, which I booked and was told at reception there is not other room available. The room was small, obviously run down, and with very bad smell from the bath room. After the shift change at reception, I asked again, pointing out the category in my booking: got another room, much better. But still: there is no satellite/cable TV, only one Armenian and one Turkish TV channel, the wifi internet with weak signal, so no extending surfing on internet possible. Breakfast buffet: I had never experienced that even food, which was supposed to be hot like fried eggs, was cold - due to the lack of heating of the warm boxes. Receptionists would need some training in service delivery and friendlyness.

Отличное расположение при такой цене.

Прожили в отеле 8 ночей, гуляли по городу и ездили по стране. Шикарное местоположение. Весь центр в пешей доступности. Было 2 номера на 7-м этаже с отличным видом и ремонтом. Но для такого длительного проживания не хватает столика в комнате и полочек в ванной - там только раковина. Даже сумку с принадлежностями некуда положить. В 1 номере был фен, в другом нет. Самое слабое в отеле завтраки. Если с набором продуктов еще на 3-4 балла, кроме отвратительного кофе, то с температурой еды - караул, реально все холодное. И всего то надо поставить подогрев под лотки + 1 микроволновка. Персонал доброжелательный. Устраняют быстро и даже горничная сама смотрит, что требует мелкого ремонта - у нас шторы отцеплялись регулярно. От Армении в восторге.

Weekend in Yerevan

This is not a bad place to stay, the surrounding area has almost everything you need. The breakfast was a mix of western and traditional, the staff are polite and the room was clean. Wifi wasnt the best, but the cafe had a good selection of drinks and food. Only thing, smoking was allowed in the cafe and everyone smoked. Such is Armenia.
