"After a 3-week journey across the GCC, Abu Dhabi was our final destination, and we chose Conrad for our stay. It was our first time at a property from this brand, and given its positioning within the luxury hotel spectrum, we expected a higher level of service.
Compared to other brands we experienced during this trip, such as Mandarin Oriental and Four Seasons, I would personally rate Conrad closer to a 4-star experience rather than true luxury.
The property itself is undeniably beautiful, located within the iconic Etihad Towers, with a glamorous and impressive lobby. However, this initial impact doesn’t fully carry through to the other common areas, which feel less refined.
The room was spacious and very clean, which we truly appreciated. That said, it already feels like it could benefit from a refresh. The Byredo amenities were definitely a highlight and added a nice touch of sophistication.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, but the atmosphere was quite chaotic, very much in a North American style. This isn’t quite what I look for when traveling in Asia or the Middle East, where I usually expect a more serene and elevated dining experience.
The pool and beach areas were good and enjoyable, while the gym was a standout feature—very large, modern, and extremely well-equipped.
Overall, while the stay was comfortable, it didn’t quite meet the expectations we had for a hotel in this category, especially"
