"Clean, comfortable room with modern facilities, in a beautiful heritage building in central Melbourne. Very close to train stations and tram lines. Staff were helpful and attentive. The only negative for me was the noise from the train line, which was enough to disturb my sleep. Would've been perfect if I'd thought to pack ear plugs; perhaps the hotel should supply them in rooms facing the train station."

"Room was clean but showed lots of wear. Worn out and holes in the carpet. The biggest complaint was finding the window to the room which overlooks an alley was stuck open and the crank didn't work, additionally the window did not have a screen. Staff was able to come and fix the window. The water smelled incredibly sulfurous. Overall found it acceptable for the price and location."

"Location is great, in free tram zone and good for solo traveller. A lot of reviews mentioned about lift problem which almost caused me cancel my booking but I don't feel any hassle regarding with lifts at all. You can totally skip the hotel breakfast since it's very basic and Melbourne offers so many great cafe which most of them opens at 7pm. I don't mind staying here again for my next visit."
