"This was very good hotel for the price. It's at the city center and easy walk to the tourist sites. Breakfast was very good with rich selection. Only downside was lack of air conditioner. It was very hot in the room. If had known about it, we would have left the window open when we went out for dinner. It was noisy when we opened the window, so we had to choose between heat and noise to sleep."

I booked half board for two rooms with 6 people, paid an extra $400 for this only to hear the hotel say we only have bed and breakfast. "Its not upto the standard even. Need whole property proper cleaning and renovatlon. Lot of Phenolphthalein balls in wash room which caused a very bag pungent smell in entire room. The hotel should be silent and curtains should be able to create darkness in the room. While the windows were double glazed, the insulation was inadequate. The street noise comes into the room. Once the early morning hustle bustle started,(inside and outside the hotel) sleep was out of the question. "

"Young lady at reception spoke good English (my Turkish is very limited), and was very welcoming. She was also very helpful (and patient) will problematic Wi-Fi on my phone. Lots of supermarkets within 5 min walk, some decent restaurants and less than 10 min to Dolmus office (Yesil Artvin) for bus to Hopa and Georgian border. And 10 min from Train Station if getting off Doug’s Ekspresi from Ankara. Decent sized room, clean and with comfy bed. "
