The property was centrally located and the staff were very helpful. They did not speak English, however, although this was stated on the hotel information. Breakfast was excellent. The room was nice and clean and contained everything needed including free amenities. The only real issue I had was that I had booked this hotel as it offered an included shuttle service to and from the airport which turned out not to be correct. For pick up, the 24 hour service had restrictive hours and was available only if you spoke Chinese and had a mainland Chinese number. There was no shuttle service offered for the return journey. However, the friendly and helpful staff booked a taxi for me. This was the third hotel I had booked with Expedia/Hotels.com because an inclusive airport shuttle service was offered, which turned out not be to be case. In this instance, I had to pay an additional GBP 30.00 for taxi transfers to and from the airport. Expedia should ensure that there information is correct on the website. Other than this issue, I enjoyed my stay and would book again.

The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered an excellent variety of delicious options. The hotel's location is also a major advantage, with the Muslim Quarter and the Bell and Drum Towers all within easy walking distance. The only disappointment was that the airport pickup service was not accurately described. Our original flight was canceled, so we didn't arrive until after midnight. I emailed the hotel three times over the two days before our arrival to request an airport pickup but never received a response. When I finally called, I was informed that the hotel only provides airport pickup until 9:00 p.m., not 24 hours as advertised. The staff did try to help by connecting me with a third-party transportation service, but it required upfront payment, so we ultimately took a taxi from the airport instead. Despite this issue, we had a pleasant stay overall, and the room, breakfast, and convenient location made it a great choice.
