"The hotel rooms are beautiful. Day staff are excellent but not that interested with evening staff who aren’t customer oriented. "

"There was no one at the front desk. We had to check in using a kiosk, the person on screen was friendly and helped me with directions. TV in our room didn’t work. "

"My family and I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. We enjoyed the full kitchen because we could cook the groceries that we bought saving some money from constantly eating out. We were impressed with the variety and quality of options for their complimentary breakfast. The staff are all very helpful when we need to borrow things we suddwnly needed. Their outdoor pool was closed but we were allowed to use the indoor pool of Fairfield Suites which is just a couple of minutes walk. We had a fantastic stay and next time we go to Bloomington, we are definitely staying athe TownePlace again. "

"We arrived early (1:30 pm) and stopped to see if our rooms were ready and could go ahead and check-in. The rooms were not ready but the woman at the front desk was so incredibly kind and friendly. We came back after our event (9:30ish) and there was another woman working the front desk who was equally friendly. One of our daughters is very outgoing and let her know that her "uncle (name)" would be arriving shortly as well. When he walked in the door she quietly shouted "it's uncle (name)!", the fact she sees countless people but remembered what our daughter had said later that night was very cool. Both staff members we interacted with her so, so great. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment and had plenty of space. The room was spotless and fresh. The bathrooms were clean and very large. The hotel is just a short drive away from campus and the perfect spot with being close but not too close. The area was quiet. If we have another reason to come to Bloomington this will be our number one pick place to stay. "

"Very clean room. Soft pillows. Would like softer mattress but that’s my preference. Same with the pancake machine that didn’t work. Better to switch to the tried and true waffle maker. Not the first hotel I’ve used with that same pancake machine that was out of order. "

"Thought it was a little noisy, but didn’t blame the motel. Some people just don’t know motel ettiquette. Loud talking and such."
