"During my recent stay at this hotel, I was disappointed with the experience on my final night, dated May 6, 2026. During my stay, the female pool bar attendant tried to take $40 USD from me. I immediately reported the issue to management, but I did not feel the situation was handled with the seriousness or urgency it deserved by Eliza (General Manager).
As a guest, safety and trust are basic expectations when staying at a hotel. Instead of feeling secure, I left feeling violated and frustrated. While the staff was polite, the lack of accountability and follow-up regarding the incident was unacceptable.
I strongly encourage the hotel to improve employee screening, security procedures, and guest protection policies to prevent situations like this from happening to others. Regrettably, I was unable to attend the Harbour Lights Dinner Show due to the staff's actions and the absence of empathy, understanding, or resolution from the general manager, Eliza.
Despite the actions of these two employees (Eliza and the barkeep), I appreciate the front desk staff (Shevika), restaurant staff (Conner?), and housekeeping. I would feel comfortable staying here again or recommending this hotel to others if I were provided with a follow-up regarding this matter."
