"The room was clean but small & thd bed was very soft. We didn't know which doir to enter for the hotel so we ended up in the bar. We asked if they could order a taxi for the morning but said they do not do this service. They said we can search the companies & choose one of our choice. How are we to know a reliable taxi company? "I had booked to stay two nights but let after 1. Even though the signs show no smoking, I could smell a combination of food and smoke smells permeating through the building and in my room. I went to see the staff about it as my eyes were being affected by it. They saw my eyes, they tried their best but couldn't help me. My room was right on the main street, with no sound proofing and the noise was unbearable. Needless to say, I could not sleep at all, with noises of cars, motorbikes, trucks and people calling out throughout the night. My lamp wasn't working, there was thick dust on the lampshade and the pillows were just horrible. It's such a shame as with some sound proofing, a good paint job on the walls throughout the property, upgrade of beds and linen, the place would be so much better. The bathrooms luckily have been upgraded and quite clean. Perfect location, great staff but the stay was really bad. I chatted with some others staying there and they all said the same thing. "
