"I was almost to the resort when they called to say our room was damaged in a storm and nothing was available. They suggested a couple of other places to stay, but didn’t assist us finding another place to stay with 30 minutes until arrival. Then for the next 3 days they texted me 2-3 times a day to ask questions: are you enjoying your stay? Why didn’t you check in at your suggested time? SERIOUSLY? And then after my “scheduled “ check out time, I had multiple emails and texts. I had made the reservation for this resort approximately 7 months prior because it was a combination business + pleasure. I’ll assume it would have been a nice place to stay, but the lack of assistance in rebooking and the pestering have convinced me to not stay there on my next trip "
