"The room was a reasonable size. The bathroom was awful. The washhand basin had two taps, cold and scalding. The bath/shower was unusable because I could not get the bath/shower tap to operate. The garden is wonderful. The staff were all very pleasant except for one receptionist from whom I sought assistance. She was inept and unpleasant. Breakfast was okay."

"Was disappointed with my stay overall. The staff member who checked me in was lovely however when I got to the room it was very hot and smelt old and fusty. Had to open the window and leave it open the entire time I was staying in the room to try and cool the room and not smell. Room was clean enough but the decor was tired and needed a lick of paint"

"This farmhouse was a marvelously maintained old house. It was comfortable and warm for us to sleep upstairs. The food provided for us each morning was excellent and we had a choice about what we wanted to eat. Parking was available for our rental car and driving the roads was an adventure in itself. Gina, our host/owner was friendly, warm and full of local information. We enjoyed speaking with her about where to go and what to do while in the area. I would gladly go there again."

"Stayed for one night as it was close to the Princess Diana hospital where I was visiting a patient. Room was pretty basic, had a double bed, a TV, basic tea/coffee facilities, bathroom. Surprisingly decent number of plug sockets available to charge devices. Decor needs a serious revamp! Curtains couldn't close properly either. No air-con in the hotel so had to have the window open and a fan going. Although the hotel has free Wi-Fi available, it doesn't actually reach to the part of the hotel where I was being boarded, so good job I was only there one night and didn't need it much! To get to the room felt very odd - taken through a set of double doors and led past the indoor squash courts, then through more doors before being told to go up some stairs and turn down a small corridor. Old fashioned keys and no auto-locking on doors, and when leaving the hotel for any length of time, you had to leave your key at reception."
