"We arrived during the first weekend of the off season (November 1st), so everything was probably a lot quieter than usual - with the outdoor pool and beach closed. Yet knowing that the hotel was certainly nowheres near full, we were disappointed to find that our jacuzzi king room (the type of room an adult couple would choose) was next to a room with a family with multiple children. Made even stranger by an adjoining door that would connect the two rooms, and allowed every word, yell, and TV...

"We had a great overnight stay at Bakers Sunset Resort! From the moment we arrived, the resort felt very welcoming. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable, though the stairs leading up to it could have used a good vacuuming. The room was not very modern, but that did not bother us. The resort doesn’t offer breakfast, but having a coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. The highlight of our stay was definitely the indoor pool area....

"Very basic but great for the price kids water area was great. We got a whirlpool room but the water in the tub wouldn't get real hot. Kind of noisy on that lower level. "

"The price was good. The room was clean. Outdoor area in the back was used by others for grilling, Frisbee and conversation with picnic tables. Outdoor pool in direct sunlight. Indoor pool nicely sized with surrounding tables and chairs. Front desk provided additional tissues. I wish staff picked up trash by outside back door and the picnic tables more often. You do hear some traffic."

"Very nice cabin with private beach. Close to attractions and downtown Wisconsin Dells. Our cabin was clean, neat and close to the office if anything was needed. Employees were friendly and Grace was awesome. She made sure we had everything we needed and there was plenty to do while visiting. Highly recommended. "
