"Nice room, good price. Difficult to figure out checking in one building and rooms in a different building, but it worked out fine for us. "

"Always a great stay. unfortunately they now only give you one coupon for one glass of wine per night of stay at the nightly wine and cheese reception ( used to be unlimited). The bartender Shonda was such a nice lady! Love the vibe and large rooms with exposed brick and wood beams ( it is a former mill). They have lots of free parking and nightly cookies and milk. It is the only place I stay when i visit Winston-Salem. It is also located next to the tourist area called Old Salem. Housekeeping does a great job. The front desk staff are ok but could be a bit more welcoming. They are pleasant enough but it is the south and i have had much warmer greetings at other properties. "

"Everything was excellent, from the friendliness and outstanding performance of the staff at the main desk, the efficient way the breakfast buffet is attended, the housekeeping is thorough and meticulous. The crew that works all of the positions are unmatched in my experience. Everyone had a very friendly, welcoming and most satisfying air about them. I would highly recommend this hotel and all the amenities to anyone looking for an excellent hotel experience."

"Recently, I have stayed at this property due to family in the hospital across the street. I have had an excellent experience each time. I have had to travel alone and felt very safe and very welcomed every time I entered the property. The front desk, as a whole, is so friendly and always greeted me whether entering or leaving. Highly recommend."
