Vi havde det mest fantastiske overnatning og føler mig simpelthen nødt til at dele min begejstring! Fra det øjeblik jeg trådte ind i lobbyen, blev jeg mødt med en utrolig varm velkomst af det venlige personale. Værelset var veludstyret med moderne bekvemmeligheder Sengen var så komfortabel, at jeg næsten ikke ønskede at stå op om morgenen! Rengøringen var fejlfri, og det var tydeligt, at hotellet prioriterer hygiejne og gæsternes komfort. Maden på hotellets restaurant var en sand kulinarisk oplevelse. Hver eneste ret, jeg prøvede, var en symfoni af smag og præsentation. Kokkene forstår virkelig at forvandle råvarer til kunstværker på tallerkenen. Personalet var opmærksomt og sørgede for, at jeg følte mig særlig velkommen.

Nice quiet hotel

Nice hotel in a quiet location. Only negative that there was no air conditioning. There was a mosquito net mounted in the window so it was possible to keep it open to cool the room a bit at night.

Beautiful room but no reception

It's a beautiful place and the rooms are well-decorated. When I arrived around 3pm there was no one at the reception desk, so I used to phone on the counter to call as instructed by a sign. Someone from the restaurant checked me in. Every time I went in and out of the hotel there was never anyone at the reception desk (even though the description reads reception is open from 7am-10pm). For this reason, I feel it's more of a bed-and-breakfast than a true hotel. I wish there had been a fan in the room, because it was a little stuffy that day, and the screen in the window didn't keep everything out. The pillow was a little too flat, so my shoulders kept falling asleep causing me to toss and turn. I didn't try the breakfast, but the hotel restaurant seemed very popular. I loved that there was free parking available, and it's a quick drive to Bergen-Belsen and to nearby Celle.
