"I recently stayed here for a weekend and wanted to share an honest but fair review of my experience. While there were some positives, overall it didn’t quite meet expectations, especially for the price. The bed linens were clean and the pillows were comfortable, which I appreciated. However, the mattress itself felt quite worn, with a noticeable dip in the middle that made for an uncomfortable sleep. Cleanliness in the bathroom could have been better, as there was hair in both the tub and on the sink upon arrival. Additionally, the tub did not drain properly during my shower, so I ended up standing in a pool of water by the end, which wasn’t pleasant. One thing to note—though not necessarily the hotel’s fault—is that my room faced two major roads, and it was quite noisy throughout the night, especially on Friday. I found myself waking up frequently due to traffic. I was also looking forward to using the hot tub, but unfortunately the jets weren’t working, so it felt more like a warm bath than a spa experience. Additionally, one of the vending machines was out of order and the available options were limited. I don’t expect perfection, but I have stayed in more affordable places that offered a more comfortable and polished experience. With some attention to maintenance and cleanliness, this could be a much better stay."

"For us the Canad Inn on Pembina works brilliantly. We come in from out of town with our 2 grandchildren for a Winnipeg adventure trip every 3 months or so. The location is perfect. The rooms work very well. The kids sleep on the “transformer bed “ a.k.a., hide-a-bed, in the living room, and we get the separate bedroom. But of course, the big draw is the water slide. The kids just love it!"

"Loved the buffet breakfast. They had juice, coffee, tea, waffle makers, variety of cereals, fruit, and most importantly, protein options of scrambled eggs and sausages. The room was clean and the bathroom was really modern. The room also had a fridge. Staff were excellent. They were friendly and attentive to patrons. This was our first time staying here but I wouldn't hesitate coming for another visit. Highly recommended from a fussy person."
