"Outdoor pool was Excellent 👌👍 poolside pool facilities excellent several pools like thermal pool spa pool highly recommend. Breakfast good but chaotic the first day they were slow clearing tables queues to get in perhaps more staff helping with this?. Room..Generally clean...thoufh.drops a point for this am afraid. So clean bedding, had to ask for towel change...I 🤔 they are given set amount of time to turn round rooms. There was a caramel colour substance on both bath towels and on wall near the bathroom door when we arrived. Asked for fresh towels day after .."

"Set in a lovely location. Plenty of free parking. Room was fine,with a clean king bed and a decent bathroom. Breakfast was average -if you are veggie you can request veggie sausages. They definitely need a coffe machine -restaurant coffee not good and tea via water from an urn. Service was fine though. Evening meal was average but expensive -convenient though. Fish and chips OK,my veggie burger not brilliant,chicken dish average,steak pie was good but vegetables lukewarm. I’d recommend a stay here. It’s nowhere near bad as some reviews and I think it good value overall. For a good meal,go to Bayleaf in the village. Drinks also better value with a quick walk to Bollington."

"Enjoyed a stay for 2 nights in this hotel. The room was clean and bright, the staff were friendly. The breakfast was good with the usual range of food available. We stayed on 2 of the hottest days of the year, so the pool provided a welcome cool down. I chose a superior room and was glad I had, as there was enough room for us including the dog and 2 windows to try & let some air through. The bathroom was a bit of a challenge having the sun all day and no opening window but am sure on a day that wasn’t 32 degrees this would not be a problem."

"We were really happy with our stay given the price we paid. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Amenities great with pool, sauna, gym etc for extra £10. Good pub and pool tables. With a bit of a clean and decorate this place could be amazing. The ballroom was very glam and I loved the old leather sofas everywhere. Alton towers 20 minutes away."
