"It was our first time staying at the Sandpiper Beacon. Overall it was good. Our room was very clean. Our view was absolutely amazing. We had a private balcony, which we enjoyed. The staff was friendly. We enjoyed the Tiki bar. The grands loved the pool with the slide. The downside in spite of it being a non smoking facility was the smell of marijuana smoke. Mostly by the pool where the kids were playing. This should not happen. I look for non smoking facilities when I book rooms because of allergies, and well the odor. Like I said for the most part it was good."

"We were on the 11th floor and it provided the most wonderful views from the deck. We could see the fireworks at night and fish jumping in the Gulf. Loved all the amenities. It had everything."

"This property is amazing! It is clean, they have thought of everything when it comes to pool time and beach comfort. The food was yummy, I loved that they have a little restaurant on the pool deck. The staff was amazing! The beach was never overcrowded because it’s mainly for the resort guests. The property had some fun extras during our stay and they upgraded the view of our room because they couldn’t provide the floor height we wanted. It was amazing!! We will definitely come back."

"The property was in a great location, newer hotel and staff was friendly. Cleaning could be better as there was hair throughout the bathroom and on the bed when we checked into our room. Also when we asked a housekeeper for towels we were initially told we had to wait for our specific housekeeper to clean our room. When asked why, she did eventually provide 2 of the 4 towels requested."
