"Overall, the hotel was great; nice and clean, quiet, friendly staff, great breakfasts. I liked having Perkins attached. Th pub was nice and the bartender on Saturday was great. Closed way too early on Sunday and paying for a drink was just wierd."

"1) Don’t let them give you one of the two rooms close to the elevator on the second floor if you’re a light sleeper. The elevator machine room (door labelled “mechanical”) is right there and you hear the noticable”Brrrrrrrrrrr!” from the hydraulic elevator pump every time somebody uses it throughout the night. 2) Tub drain was clogged. Showering meant standing in 2 inches of dirty water. Told them about it and they unclogged it however that only lasted for about 2 minutes. 3) Clean the stairwell. I don’t know what that is that dripped on the wall between the first and second floor, along with the coagulated blob in the corner on the first floor of the stairwell, but I have an idea. It was there the entire week I was which means not once did somebody go check on that stairwell and clean it. Positive: The breakfast was decent, with a good selection including DIY waffle maker."
