"I like waking up with the sound of the birds, not like from the noise that one experience in town. Its isolation makes it more nice as a place to relax from all the fatigue of stresses and hotness. The lodge is really a place one can go just to relax for two or three days. I took game driving about was not really satisfied as we did not see many animals but the driver was really good and have a best customer service one could offer. "

"This is an excellent 1 night stop over for your trek through Namibia. The service from the staff is excellent, the accommodation is adequate and comfortable. You will sleep well and have a nice pool to relax by with a beer. The highlight is the dinner and breakfast. The owner is an award wining chef and the quality of the cuisine and wine list shows. If you want a 5 star “bed and breakfast/dinner” don’t hesitate to stop here. As a side note, German and Afrikaans are the primary languages...

"It is the oldest private game preserve, and it shows. Wrinkled pictures in frames filled with dead bugs, the yard needs a serious clean. That being said the bar/dinner area is quite lovely. Game drive vehicles are ancient. (One hour drive is R450, which seems really steep). I stayed at one of the ‘chalets’. As basic as it gets.
