"Donna and Dave were very friendly and welcoming. The homemade breakfast was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the breakfast time with the other guests. The Prow'd House is located a couple of miles out of town, and we appreciated the quietness of the place after enjoying various activities in the area such as Old Baldy, the Blue Hole, and the Driftwood Estate Winery."

"This is not the right place for you if you want hustle and bustle. It’s quiet but you can still see other guests if you want to. Love the personal fire pit and the lead so we could keep our dog with us. They thought of everything you might want—even a smores kit. It’s not “roughing it.” Good water pressure, cold AC, comfortable bed. Units are small but make the most of the space. Gorgeous picture window from which we watched a herd of deer run by one morning. Memorable trip. Highly recommend. Relaxing stay."

"Really cool property. Something different, for sure. The cabin was very comfortable and there were some unexpected and fun amenities on the property. It is DARK out there, so we really enjoyed seeing the stars at night. Quiet, safe - and had a nice cool breeze despite it being the summer months. We went in July and I will say that the cabin did get pretty hot during the day (your typical 100 degree Texas Hill Country summer day)...so you might want to go into Wimberly or do a water activity or go somewhere with good AC during the day. But the nights were fantastic. "

"The Best bed and breakfast in Wimberly,Tx . We enjoyed a couples massage that was amazing not to mention the room they host these services was absolutely breathtaking We originally booked one of their rooms the we loved but noticed a room with a tub. When we arrived we asked about upgrading to Honeysuckle room and thank goodness is was available . Mrs. Amy front desk clerk made all the accommodations necessary and we enjoyed our 3 day stay at this room that was beautiful, clean, amazing natural light, and of course had the tub. Will def be back I loved it... The food was superb as well, Leo the chef was so sweet and kind... Housekeeping always greeted you with a great smile and always looking to help and make you stay and enjoyable one !!!"
