"The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and communicative—exactly the kind of warm hospitality you’d hope to find at a small Vermont inn. The only areas that could use some attention were our room in the carriage house and the coffee. The room was clean, but it felt quite dark and had a slightly musty smell. The carpet also appears to be well past its prime, and while everything was as clean as possible, replacing it would make the room feel much fresher and more inviting. The coffee was another disappointment, but fortunately that’s an easy improvement to make. On the bright side, there’s a wonderful café less than a three-minute walk away that serves excellent coffee, espresso drinks, and delicious bakery items. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the kindness of the staff. With a few updates, this inn could offer an even better guest experience."
