Wildwood hotel rooms a the Independent

"We stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham Wildwood I-75 while in the area for a tournament. The room itself was clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, there were several maintenance issues. In our first room, the toilet wouldn’t flush. A staff member kindly came to fix it and offered to move us if needed. When the issue continued, we were moved to another room, where the sink did not drain properly. We chose not to report it to avoid changing rooms again. The hotel advertises breakfast, but the options were very limited—mainly waffles and biscuits with gravy, with no protein choices. Unfortunately, the waffles tasted off, so we ended up going elsewhere for breakfast. Laundry facilities were a plus, with multiple machines available and convenient tap-to-pay options. Overall, while the staff was great and the room was clean, the maintenance issues and limited breakfast made this a less-than-ideal stay."
