"The only good thing we’re the beds. otherwise the bathroom was small, rusty paint, yellow caulk, dirty caulk. This place was a dump. Poor breakfast as well. "

"Room wasn’t ready. So we went out and they said they would call, but never did. We checked back. , it was ready. We settled in, then there was a fire drill. So we had to leave the building. The room was not equipped with a bathroom fan or thermostat. . You could hear traffic and kids yelling outside all night. Not impressed with the hotel"

"I would suggest that young children br better monitored in and around jacuzzi! Maybe have times, for a couple hours, for pool and jacuzzi!?! And maybe offer more snack items along with sodas for sale! Other than that I cant really think of anything else! Great spot for a girls/coworker & friends stay/getaway/mental health time out from our intensely stressful job!!! Thank You from 3 night shift CNA's!!! "

"I travel often for work and wasn't previously aware of this new hotel. The Highpoint is associated with the Sanford Health/University of South Dakota Medical campus. I am always impressed by forward-thinking concepts that address needs. In this case, the hotel provides support for patient family/friends, visiting medical professionals and potential students, and business travelers looking for professional, quiet accommodations centrally located. The hotel is affordably priced with an upscale feeling in lobbies and rooms. The city views are tremendous. The highpoint is a great choice for business and personal stays."

"Parking was horrible when the guest that are paying for a room have to park across the road cause they over book party’s and other events. There was nothing for a family to do for the price we paid for two nights plus nothing for breakfast. Not even a cold bar for something. Can say our family will not be staying there again. "

"This is probably the worst hotel ive ever stayed at. We used it once and it was bad. Booked on accident a second time driving across the country and the second time was even worse. Dirty, everything broken. We walked i to the room and there were dresser drawers full of someones personal belongings and it looked like someone was living there. We had to chase down the managers because the phone in the room didnt work. He apologized and said the maid must not have cleaned the room and put us across the hall and we opened the refrigerator and it smelled like a dead body. Went back up front because again the phone didnt work in room to the front desk. Then he asked in a snide way, what do you want, should i give you a refund or should we try another room. I explained that it was late and the room was non refundable as it was bookrf through third party and then he put me in a 3rd room. And there was no hot water. After running for 10 minutes it finally warmed up to lukewarm. Breakfast was terrible and when we checked out they didnt even apologize for the inconveniences. DO NOT GO HERE"
