"When we arrived it was after 11pm on the check in day and they hadn't cleaned the room from the previous person. I called the office and they did get right on getting someone to clean it but it took 45 minutes before the room was ready for us. They did a fantastic job cleaning it and kept it very clean for the three days we stayed. Other then not having breakfast and having to wait for the room to be cleaned upon our arrival it was perfect"

"My wife and I stayed here for a good few nights while we adventured around Acadia National Park. This hotel really stuck out to us at first because of the price and central location to many areas, while being just outside the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. When we arrived, we were greeted nicely and were given the lay of the land. We quickly new the places to go, places to avoid, and how best to navigate around the islands. Our room was simple and dated, but not in a bad way at all. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, and we had a fridge and microwave that could be used. The only downfall I could see is the size of the shower. It is definitely a single stall shower which required some getting used to, but after 2 nights, that was easy to figure out. I'd still give 5 stars for this either way. We would definitely stay here again!"
