Nice studio type rooms.

Whitianga is a quite, ocean front town. Marina Park has nice studio type rooms. Our view was not great and the hotel can use some color ( it’s all grey).

Clean n comfortable

We had a lovely stay. We booked unit with full kitchen n washer n dryer. We thought the complex was lovely n within walking distance for meals.

Would definitely re-book at Marina View Apartments - loved our short stay there. Amazing view over the marina and we'd love to take advantage of the outdoor deck and furniture over summer. Can't fault the apartment and the proximity to town.

Property was lovely. Well cared for and easy access to Whitianga. Beautiful view over the boat harbour. Peaceful and quiet where we were.

Lovely spot with a beautiful outlook. Spacious unit with good facilities and very well kept. Short walk from main restaurant area and wharf. We visited in the tourist off season so it was pretty quiet. Only down side was some over zealous residents: we had an issue with our hire car which the serviceman was coming to look at. With reception closed for the night, we moved the car temporarily into one of the many vacant under cover spots when the serviceman arrived (in his uniform) so he would not have to get rained on and in minutes were being challenged by residents about using the car space telling us that the owner would be home soon and he "will not be happy". Entirely unnecessary had they taken in the circumstances... we were mortified and it made the serviceman feel very uncomfortable. Would they have preferred he got soaked ?? :-(

Great facilities

Marina Park is great to stay at..lovely views & a great pool. Big disappointment not to hv 2 bathrooms for 2 couples..& a shower over the bath.... .considering the expensive price tag.
