"The hotel was lovely and use of the swi.ming pool/ spa was great. The grounds were very well maintained. They had a booking system for breakfast which didn't really allow you to be flexible, but I understand that they probably didn't have enough space / staff if everyone turned up at the same time (hot breakfast was cooked fresh and was delicious)."

"We loved this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was amazing at both restaurants and the breakfast had a great selection. The spa was fab and the views from the harbour were spectacular. It was a nice walk up into town through parkland and conveniently located for the boat trip we took."

"Clean and quiet lodge great for anyone looking for a peaceful stay. A 10 minute walk into the town and a 20 minute bus ride to Connemara National Park which was absolutely stunning. The breakfast was quite good as well for a buffet style arrangement, able to have a full Irish if you so please as well as fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and oatmeal. The staff were very accommodating as there were huge delays with the rails and a missed train the day we arrived and we didn't get in until after 8 pm with no problems."

"My husband and I stayed at Abbeyglen Castle for our five year wedding anniversary and had an amazing time! Ronan, one of the owners, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The property is beautiful and so well maintained, our room was wonderful, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Such a special place to celebrate, and we will absolutely be back again!"
